		<description>The other part of the equation on the wind farms is that they require the backup of coal, gas or hydro generation.  I have bookmarked the IESO page, &quot;Wind Power in Ontario&quot; and just looked at it.  Wind Power is currently generating 21 Megawatts of power for the province yet the installed capacity is over 1100 megawatts of wind power.  It has all been connected to the Hydro One grid at a riduculous cost which only increases our hydro bills.  So today its producing 2% of installed power.  That&#039;s why Germany has needed to build so many coal fired generating stations.  As my grandfather used to say the foxes are running the hen house.
