Wind Concerns Ontario Will Be Responding to Green Energy Act Regulation Announcement
I will be responding to the Green Energy Act regulations cabinet has passed and will announce today, once they are available. I don’t have much to say having not yet seen a final draft of what the Minister is to announce, but will be as soon as they are available.
Members of Wind Concerns Ontario are galvanized, energized and have always been prepared to take on government and industry for irresponsible regulations that hurt human health, deny science, damage the environment, harm our democracy and hurt our community decision making.
While I always hold out hope the government will listen to us, I remain pessimistic as I await a copy of the final regulations. I expect today will be like every other day, and that our members will find themselves continuing to fight hard against this industry and it’s irresponsible projects.
The difference is now that the regulations are in place, there is little left to discuss, especially once offshore regulations are decided, and it is quickly becoming a time for action.

I just heard that Miller has quit…..that means now Toronto will get a taste of what Smitherman will bring to the table. Smitherman and company have devastated Rural Ontario with their Green Energy Act and now he has his sights set on City Hall………….God Help Toronto!

Thank you John for your continued effort on this fight for fairness and to protect the citizens of Ontario.
We are both still very fired up to fight along side you and the others!
Sooo glad that Miller is on his way out..and next hopefully McGinty to retire. I am sure they can find something to do with their time…and let others step in and perhaps be better listeners and governed by the needs of the people they are leading.

I watched Focus Ont.this evening(by chance + I Taped)and I was very Impressed with your detailed presentation after George did his “Queens Park” “we know what’s best for ALL you Ont.Folks!!!BS
Aw!!shades of Europe ’36-’45….I wonder where George lives?? Would HE willingly accept a 40 story Ugly,Noisey non effiecent complex in HIS back yard??—for the sake of a few carbon credits!!(to be sold to India-Pakistan for a few “Attaboy Canada” Oh yes!!– without any chance of “vetting” his Rights/Concerns as an Ont.TAX PAYER and his once apon a time,given right to file his objection to his Elected /local “Planning Board “.
I Served 30 years in the Military (1957-1987) and recently,”I wonder WHY I joined the Military >. to ensureour “protection”/safety for our people and country when we are “dictated” on our way of thinking what’s best for ALL Ontarians!”
